Letter: Thanks for Eagle Star Coverage

The Conexx Eagle Star Awards gala is Atlanta’s premier event that showcases the collaboration of Israel’s innovation and entrepreneurship with businesses and academic institutions throughout the Southeast. At a time when most media coverage of Israel focuses on elements of the conflict in the region, your advanced coverage of the award winners of the 2016 Eagle Star Awards (“Conexx’s Eagles Landing Soon,” May 27) clearly exemplifies just a smattering of the positive influences the tiny nation of Israel has had on the well-being of the citizens of Georgia and the Southeast, our nation, and the world at large.

Thank you for devoting the four pages of your paper to convey a perspective of Israel not often enough highlighted.
