The Atlanta Jewish Times, a Southern Israelite publication, is owned and published by Michael A. Morris, Kaylene Ladinsky is the Editor and Managing Publisher.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Atlanta Jewish Times is to create a sense of community throughout the geographically dispersed Jewish people of greater Atlanta. The AJT accomplishes its mission through the timely dissemination of local news and important national Jewish and Israeli interests; support of local synagogue, nonprofit and cultural endeavors and events; the announcement of family simchas and lifecycle events; thought-provoking dialogue and debate on current issues and Jewish ideas; and the strengthening of the bonds and understanding of Jewish culture, tradition and family.

While the AJT is distributed free throughout the community, on the web and through social media outlets, home delivery is offered as a convenience and as an opportunity for anyone in the Jewish community to support this mission.

Michael A. Morris | Owner and Publisher

Michael A. Morris purchased the Atlanta Jewish Times at the end of 2014. Immediately before purchasing the AJT, Michael was the interim director of the Friends of the IDF for the Southeast Region. In past endeavors, Michael was one of the founders of travelgirl magazine. In Michael’s early career, he founded and operated GMA Partners, a NASD-regulated investment banking and stock brokerage firm. He also was the assistant to the controller of Wolf Camera and an assistant trader on the OTC trading floor of Merrill Lynch.

Atlanta Jewish Times’ Managing Publisher & Editor Kaylene Ladinsky, has been with the AJT since January 2011. She has served the AJT as a writer, Business Manager, Associate Publisher, Managing Publisher and Editor over her tenure. News and community relations took a priority when becoming founder and president of Americans United with Israel Corporation, a charitable 501(c)3 NGO based in Atlanta, Georgia.
