Bar Mitzvah: Jacob Wadler

Jacob Max Wadler, son of Joan and Marc Wadler of Tampa, Fla. was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Sat., March 8 at Congregation Schaarai Zedek in Tampa.

A seventh grade honors student at Carrollwood Day School, Jacob enjoys playing the guitar and basketball and is an active member of Jr.SchZFTY at his temple.  He worked for Horses for the Handicapped at the Bakus Equestrian Center for his bar mitzvah project.

After services, his parents hosted a luncheon celebration at the Rusty Pelican. Special guests included grandparents Susan and Stanley Wadler of Atlanta, Elaine and Otto Weitzenkorn of Tampa, Fla. and family and friends from across the U.S. and Costa Rica.
