Weber Sends 19 to AIPAC

The Jewish Atlanta high-schoolers lobbied a congresswoman and two senators in Washington.

The Weber School had 19 students attend the recent AIPAC Policy Conference in Washington: seniors Parker Zaglin, Eric Lieberman, Steven Rubin, Jael Azani, Eli Meyers, Lior Granath and Zoe Starr; juniors David Medof and Jack Spandorfer; sophomores William Stanwick, Darcy Denneen, Hannah Feldstein, Tiffany Salzberg and Leead Silverstone; and freshmen Harris Jacobs, Micah Reich, Carly Spandorfer, Jordan Starr and Lihi Barel.

Weber board of trustees member Billy Medof, David’s father, was honored during the conference.

The students lobbied Rep. Karen Handel and Sens. David Perdue and Johnny Isakson while they were in the nation’s capital.
