Weber School Grad Honored by AJC
Max Ripans of The Weber School is among the graduates named Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s AJC Cup winners.
Max Ripans is among the graduates who won the AJC Cup. He was also an AJT 18 Under 18 honoree in 2018.
Ripans, also one of the Atlanta Jewish Times’ 2018 18 Under 18 winners, was chosen among the other AJC Cup winners based on nominations from the faculty and staff of more than 200 public and private schools in metro Atlanta, according to the newspaper.
The nomination for Ripans, as reported in the AJC, stated that he was “funny, passionate and down to earth. Faculty and staff say Max, who founded Wolf of Weber Street finance club, is an excellent leader both in and out of the classroom. Always grateful for the opportunities he has been given, Max’s positivity and optimism are so engaging that The Weber School says people always want to follow his lead.”
