Obituary: Robert Alan Moss 63
Robert Alan Moss, 63, died on Wednesday, August 5 in the company of close family and friends. Funeral services will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel in Sandy Springs on Friday, August 7 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Born in New York City on June 27, 1952 to the late Evelyn and Murray Moss, Robert graduated with a B.A. degree with honors from Michigan State University in 1974 and with a Juris Doctor degree with honors from the Illinois Institute of Technology/ Chicago Kent College of Law in 1978. After moving to Atlanta, Robert pursued a career in family law first working for Decker, Cooper & Hall until starting his own firm Moss & Rothenberg. In 2013, Robert was voted one of the top lawyers in Georgia. His high ethical standards, dedication and compassion for his work and his clients made him a truly special person to all of those he worked with. Robert also had a passion for the outdoors and for flying, taking pilot lessons later in life and even purchasing a Cessna plane to share with family and friends. Robert is survived by his two children, Rachel and Jacob Moss; brother and sister-in-law, Joel and Karen Moss; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Jeff Steinberg; nephews, Jared and Matthew Steinberg; and niece, Marissa Moss.
