Obituary: Gerald Rubin

The Temple Beth David volunteer and former salesman for ladies' accessories died Tuesday, March 7.

Gerald Rubin, age 78, of Lawrenceville died Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

Born in Gloversville, N.Y., Jerry began his career as a sales representative working in his family’s glove business. He later relocated to Atlanta, where he continued to be an independent sales rep for ladies’ accessories. Upon retirement, Jerry did volunteer work for his synagogue, Temple Beth David, as well as Simonton Elementary. Jerry was married for over 50 years to the former Gail Leiser, who preceded him in death in 2011.

Survivors include son Barry Rubin, Lawrenceville; daughter and son-in-law Sheri and Jon Young, Lawrenceville; son and daughter-in-law William and Marilyn Rubin, Atlanta; and grandchildren Emily, Hannah, Erin, Marissa and Erica.
