Obituary: Claire Baron
The New York native's survivors include seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Claire S. Baron, 91, of Marietta passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017.
She was born Feb. 14, 1926, in New York City to Sadie and Samuel Smolev, both of blessed memory. Claire was preceded in death by her brother, Larry.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Harry; daughter Babarba Schafer; sons Robbie (Nancy) and Stuart; grandchildren Amy Alterman (Louis), Harold (Liann) and Piper Baron, and Madison, Ashley, Justin and Cameron Schafer; and six great-grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
