Mother’s Day Tributes: Shelley Dube

Shelley Dube

Growing up my mother always taught us that “there is always room for one more at the table” and to be as welcoming and inclusive as we can be. She instilled in us the importance of reaching out to people who may not be outgoing and recognizing that everyone has something that makes them unique. The life lessons she taught us have carried through to my work, and now that I am a mother, to how I am raising my own child. My mom constantly thinks of others and this Mother’s Day it would be wonderful to show her how deeply she is appreciated and loved.
