Mother’s Day Tribute: Rae Jaben

My mother has outlived two husbands, one my father and the other my step-father who helped raise me. But my mother’s biggest accomplishment is having raised four children (and along the way a step-son who says he saved her life by including her in our family). These four children – my three siblings and me – are the closest siblings you will probably ever find. We love, respect and trust each other and are now working together to bring our mother into my husband’s and my home, where we know she will be happiest. At 94 years old, she deserves everything that’s good and pleasant and easy. As you can see from the photo, she’s beautiful, inside and out.
