Melton Foundations For Jewish Family Living

This learning opportunity for parents provides a thought-provoking encounter with the core values of Judaism.  At a time in a family’s life when a child is experiencing his or her first encounters with Jewish education, this rich learning experience provides parents with the learning, the language, and the confidence to be a teacher to your own children and support Jewish learning at home. The first session begins next week on January 15 and will focus Protecting Our World and Tu B’Shevat.

Foundations is offered in 9-week and 18-week sessions for parents with young children (newborn to early elementary).  You can register for the two 9-week units: Unit 1 or Unit 2). Each unit is $145; both units (18 weeks) are $265. The classes will be held at The Epstein School on Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Room #260, across the hall from Computer Lab B.  Participants can purchase a school lunch each week for $3 per person.
