Media Bias Requires Active Response
I thought your editorial on mass media’s acting as a pawn of the Palestinian leadership’s propaganda war against Israel (“Read in Red,” Oct. 16) was wonderful until I read the last paragraph.
We have to do much more than “hope the mighty media outlets will get the message.” We have to be sending them the truth about Israel, loud and clear and often. I urge readers of the Atlanta Jewish Times to become Israel advocates. For those who feel they need help getting started, I suggest consulting websites such as www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org, www.CAMERA.org, honestreporting.com and www.memri.org.
