Letters to the Editor: Arnold Pinsley

I object to your portrayal of Evangelical churches taking money from the poor to contribute to chosen causes as unique; isn’t this what the Catholic Church has done for centuries? Haven’t many magnificent churches in both the “old” and “new” worlds been built with money and labor from desperately poor folks? Why disparage Evangelicals for the same practice?
