In addition to breast cancer survivors, Hadassah will honor Cynthia Good, a champion of diversity and women’s empowerment, at The Big Reveal 2019. Hadassah’s 5th annual Celebration of Life will take place at 6 p.m. March 10 at The Foundry at Puritan Mill.

Good, formerly a WAGA-TV anchor, is known as a parenting expert who started two professional women’s magazines, Atlanta Woman and Pink magazine and its outgrowth, LittlePinkBook.com.

Another activist for women is Best Strokes honorary chair Martha Jo Katz, who is an international fashion model, event consultant, author, advocate, motivator, and patron of women’s causes.

Best Strokes co-chairs are Debra Sharker and Marsha Cintorino. Ambassador co-chairs for the event are: Linda and Peter Birnbaum, Carol and Larry Cooper and Lynne and Jack Halpern.

Ellen Sichel and Ellen Weinstein, co-chairs of Paint Day, prepare for the March event.

At the event, Hadassah will honor survivors, each of whom modeled for original body paintings and shared their own ovarian and breast cancer stories from Paint Day in November.

The Big Reveal will be an emotional and joyful event in which survivors will be celebrated and given a forum to share stories. The gala regularly sells out each year with more than 500 anticipated guests. There will be a raffle, music, food, drinks, community connection, and art.

Tickets are $118, which includes a raffle (cocktail ring) ticket, small plates, an open bar and on-site parking. A $218 patron ticket includes all of the above plus valet parking and an additional raffle ticket.
