Greater Atlanta Hadassah to Present World-Renowned Cystic Fibrosis Research Leader

Special for the AJT

Greater Atlanta Hadassah cordially invites the community for a special presentation on Cystic Fibrosis Research by Doctor Professor Eitan Kerem, Head of the Pediatric Division, Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel, and Professor of Pediatrics at the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School. It takes place on Wednesday, March 18, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Congregation Or Hadash in Sandy Springs.

While visiting Atlanta, Kerem will also be meeting with colleagues at Emory University Medical Center to discuss “Cystic Fibrosis: The Story of a Journey Through Phenotype, Genotype and Drug Development.” His other major interest is in providing comprehensive care of chronically ill children with the full array of services they need in one location serving the Druze, Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities. For this purpose, Prof. Kerem founded the Center for Chronic Diseases in Children.

Hadassah has been very resourceful in redesigning limited space using limited resources to create a center that operates a bright, cheerful, and child/family friendly clinic serving children. $5.00 suggested contribution at the door. Please RSVP to the Hadassah Atlanta office – 678-443-2961 or atlanta@hadassah.org.
