Join Chef Blaiss Nowak and Host Kirk Halpern next Sunday on “Cooking Chatter”. Scheduled just in time to cook your family’s Sunday dinner in style. A guest appearance by food enthusiast Matt Brill will assist in this fun-filled cooking show, will be filled with Butcher & Chef tips, ideas and ways to cook steaks, roasts, fish and more. Recipe Items for Beef Tenderloin

1 ½ lbs beef (approximately 1 ¼ to 1 ½ in. thick)

Marinade – Mix all ingredients together & pour of beef – put in refrigerator for 24 hours

1/3 C lite soy sauce

¼ t freshly ground pepper

¼ C EVOO

2 cloves minced garlic

2 T honey

2 T red wine vinegar

1 T fresh lime juice

2 T chopped green onions

2 t fresh ginger minced

 

Chimichurri Sauce

Combine all ingredients in blender and serve on the side with steaks

1 cup fresh Italian flat-leaf parsley leaves only, stems removed

1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves only, stems removed

1/4 cup fresh oregano leaves only, stems removed

1/3 cup roughly chopped red onion or shallots

3 cloves garlic peeled

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon kosher salt
