Chaya Mushka Hires Head of School

Chaya Mushka Children’s House Elementary and Middle School has hired Rabbi Michoel Druin to be the head of school, effective March 1.

Rabbi Druin will work from New York on school projects until he moves to Atlanta.

Chaya Mushka, a part of Chabad of Georgia, is Atlanta’s only Montessori Jewish day school.

Rabbi Druin brings highly developed leadership skills in teaching, administration and communication and has a passion for excellence in Judaics and general studies. His vitality and enthusiasm have begun to create an atmosphere of excitement and openness.

Rabbi Druin, a father of four and a grandfather, co-founded and taught at Machon L’Hora’ah, a rabbinic ordination program in Pretoria, South Africa, and taught at Crawford College, Pretoria, a school with 1,500 students.

He has a master’s in educational leadership from Bellevue University, and he completed the Principals’ Program of the Lookstein Center and the Leadership Program of Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
