AJA Announces Top Grads

In-person graduation is still planned for early August.

Valedictorian

Zach Mainzer

After graduation, Zach plans to attend Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh and the Yeshiva University Honors College in the fall 2021. He received the Yeshiva University Honors Program Scholarship and the Brandeis University Presidential Scholarship.

While at AJA, he was a member of the Hatmadah Honor Society this year, a top AJA scorer in the Georgia Math League and the Jewish High School Math League. He received the Yale University Book Award and the Yeshiva University Book Award last year. He tied for first place nationwide in YU’s Bronka Weintraub High School Bekiut Program in the Boys Amud category.

Sophie Steinberg

Sophie plans to attend the University of Michigan.

She received the AJC Cup Award this year, Harvard Book Award in 2019, and Szarvas Fellowship in 2018.

Eitan Linsider

Eitan plans to attend Yeshivat Orayta and the University of Maryland in the fall 2021.

He received a scholarship from the University of Maryland Honors Program. At AJA he was part of the Hatmadah Honor Society this year, and in 2019, earned the AJA Student of the Year and Columbia University Book Award.
