A Feast Fit for a Pharaoh
Young Israel of Toco Hills prepares for Passover with its annual Man Seder.
Young Israel of Toco Hills held its annual Man Seder on Sunday night, March 25, featuring a four-course steak dinner, craft beers and bourbon, and between-courses Passover insights from Rabbi Adam Starr for the men to bring home to their family seders the following weekend.
As in previous years, the event also served as a collection point for used business clothes for nonprofit M.E.N.S. Wear, which helps men gain the skills and tools to secure economically viable career paths.
Congregation B’nai Torah was scheduled to hold its second annual Men’s Seder — also with four courses, steak, craft beer and bourbon supplemented by Passover insights from Rabbi Joshua Heller — on Tuesday night, March 27, after the AJT went to press.
