Obituary: Franklin Benamy, 82
Franklin Michael Benamy, 82, of Atlanta, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, June 15, 2016, after a long, courageous battle with liver cancer.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Joan Brener Benamy; children Paul and Beth Benamy, Brenda and Alan Lewis, and Dean and Kim Benamy; grandchildren Sari Benamy, Brittany and Andy Saag, Alison Lewis, and Heather and Joey Benamy; great-grandchildren Emmy and Bennett Saag; sister Elaine Turry; and a large extended family.
