Meet The Nationally Acclaimed Jonathan Blum, Author Of “Last Word”

Jewish author, Jonathan Blum, will read from and sign copies of his acclaimed novella “Last Word” in a hors d’oeuvres, coffee, and dessert reception hosted by Becky and Evan Colker.

“Last Word” delivers a humorous and relatable depiction of a troubled family within a Conservative Jewish community in the contemporary South.

Blum’s latest novella has been reviewed by the Huffington Post as a new independent hit of 2014, and is an engaging rapid-read that touches the heart as much as it strikes a chord.

Author, Jonathan Blum is a rising star in the Jewish literary world. Get personal, meet and participate in a conversation with the author.

This event takes place Thurs., March 13 at 7 p.m., at Crema Café in Dunwoody, and is free and open to the public.

 

About the Author

Jonathan Blum grew up in Miami and graduated from UCLA and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. His short stories have appeared in Green Mountains Review, Gulf Coast, New York Stories, Northwest Review, Other Voices, Playboy, Zaum, and elsewhere. He has taught fiction writing at The University of Iowa and at Drew University, and is the recipient of a Michener-Copernicus Society of America Award and a grant from the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation. He lives in Los Angeles.  The novella can be purchased online.
