As a long time fan of the annual AJFF, I felt this year was the best ever! There was a great selection of films and the added venues allowed many more people to view the films.
Though the closing film was outstanding and explored the topic of engaging senior citizens in the world at large, the dessert reception left many disappointed fans.
Since the event was not under kosher supervision, the AJFF missed an opportunity to educate people in the importance of kosher food, advocate for those who are kosher observant, and engage the whole Atlanta community in the closing event. Let’s hope we can see a change in next year.
