Lessons in Conscious Discipline
Mindy Becker is bringing guidance for parents and teachers to Intown Jewish Preschool.
Intown Jewish Preschool is playing host to a Conscious Discipline master instructor to help make parenting easier and more fulfilling for anyone caring for a child from birth to age 21.
Mindy Becker is the founder and CEO of Miami’s Grow With Us Academy preschool and has worked with Conscious Discipline since 2001. She has been certified as a Conscious Discipline instructor since 2007 and has taught the methodology to parents and educators in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New York and as far away as Denmark.
Conscious Discipline is an evidence-based approach to social-emotional learning that helps parents and teachers manage children’s behavior and teach them self-control and confidence with the skills to discipline themselves. Becker teaches a series of linked steps to help families move from turmoil to tranquility and enable parents to stop policing and pleading.
