In partnership with Kravitz, both ads will feature his new track, “Rock Star City Life,” off of his upcoming album, “Black and White America,” also due for release in the summer of 2014.

As an actor, Kravitz and the rest of the cast of “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” were honored by the Screen Actors Guild Awards with a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Born Leonard Albert Kravitz, he is the son of “The Jeffersons” actress Roxie Roker and NBC TV producer Sy Kravitz. His mother is of Afro-Bahamian and African-American ancestry, while his father is of Ukrainian, Jewish descent.
