The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta unequivocally stands with the people and state of Israel.

We are learning more every hour, and the more we learn, the more we realize that the people of Israel need our help. More than 130,000 children live in range of the missiles and have been cooped up in bomb shelters for a week or more; they are in desperate need of a return to normalcy and fresh air.

There are business owners whose companies have been closed for days; how will they be able to make ends meet this month? There are elderly and disabled who need assistance in getting food and medicine. Trauma and anxiety have become the emotional norm for so many.

In short, the people of Israel need our support. That’s why we have opened the Israel Terror Relief Fund. Donations made to this fund will support the immediate needs of the people living in harm’s way. You can make a donation by texting “defense” to 51818.

We are also planning a Show of Solidarity for Tues., Nov 20, beginning at 7:30 p.m.  at Ahavath Achim Synagogue. We ask that you attend to show your support for Israel. The Consul General of Israel to the Southeast, Opher Aviran, and other dignitaries will be present.
