Hitting High Notes at the Epstein School

This school year, the Epstein School launched the Epstein School Band under the direction of music specialist Gale Scott. The program is an extension of the elementary music curriculum and is intended for third- through fifth-grade students interested in a more challenging music experience.
Beginner students start the learning process in a multi-instrument class and progress as a group, making teamwork an emphasis of the class. Instruction is offered for flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone and percussion.
The band performed at the school’s Hanukkah Assembly and will perform for several other school events throughout the year.
