Hillels of Georgia’s annual talent show fundraiser took its latest form, “Campus Top Talent,” for a gala celebration of philanthropists Bernie and Billi Marcus at the Georgia Aquarium on Tuesday, March 20.

“You are a light unto others and our future is made brighter because of you,” reads the inscription on the Visionary Award presented that night to Bernie Marcus, who is passionate about Hillel’s role internationally in helping Jewish students thrive on college campuses despite increasing demonstrations of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic feelings in many places.

Hillel International’s CEO, Eric Fingerhut, flew in for the fundraiser and the opportunity to help present the trophy to the Home Depot co-founder.
