When Miriam, a Jewish woman, meets Sameer, a man from Morocco, the two fall in love at first sight. But when Sameer admits he is undocumented Miriam offers her assistance catapulting her on a dangerous journey where everything isn’t what it seems. The play is written by Andrea Lepcio and explores prejudice, love and civil rights in the age of the Patriot Act.
There is also a free presentation on The American Muslim: Beliefs & Practices by The Islamic Speakers Bureau at Synchronicity on April 11 at 6pm, and April 22 at 4:30pm
