A Holocaust Survivor’s Story

“Tabs to Remember the Children” was started as a remembrance for the 1.5 million children murdered during the Holocaust.  We are close to our goal of 1.5M and have set a date for the presentation.

9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Presentation is free and open to the public. The 7:30 p.m. presentation will also include our regular Shabbat service.  Guests attending are Roanoke Mayor Sherman Lea, Anna Semonco, Executive Director of SW Ronald McDonald House, Stuart Trinkle, President, Board of Directors, SW, RMH, and Hank Brodt, a Holocaust survivor from Greensboro, NC.  Presentation will be approximately 1 1/2 hours with question and answer period included.  Topic will be A Holocaust Survivor’s Story.  For Schools:  Please consider a field trip for your students studying the Holocaust for this wonderful opportunity to hear and speak with Mr. Brodt.  After the presentation all tabs will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.  Questions or concerns, contact Shirley McNeil.
