Consul General Reacts To Bulgaria Terror Attack

Statement by Consul General Opher Aviran regarding today’s terror attacks on Israeli civilians in Bulgaria:

“Today a vicious terrorist attack took place against innocent Israeli tourists arriving to a resort town in Bulgaria.

The shocking news of today’s events reaches us as we are sadly commemorating another heinous assault on Jewish innocents 18 years ago in Buenos Aires.

All signs at this time point to the Iranian regime as being behind today’s terrorist attack.

In the past several months we have seen increased terrorist attempts by the Iranian regime and its proxies against Israel and Jewish targets in three major regions of the world.

Israel remains steadfast in its fight to protect justice and freedom in the region and will not be bullied by cowardly terrorists! Together, with our allies in the West, we can and must defeat Iranian terrorism.”
